Over the past several years I have been involved in a variety of outreach programs and have taught a variety of age groups about topics in science. During my studies as a graduate student I worked with researchers and NH Sea Grant on Community Based Sand Dune Restoration efforts where I discussed topics of coastal resiliency and the role of native plants, as well as instructed volunteers on proper planting techniques.
